Golden Steer New York brings one legend to meet another: Las Vegas’ longest-running steakhouse, founded in 1958 just off the Strip, now with its first expansion in the heart of New York in the storied One Fifth Avenue co-op building. Across both places, history has been written in performance, pleasure, and personality. One Fifth Avenue is not a museum piece or transplant of the Las Vegas original.

Rather, through materials and details inspired from research into the archives of the Golden Steer and University of Nevada Las Vegas, MN introduces the rituals, textures, and mischief of Las Vegas into the rich cultural history of New York; an entirely distinctive space with its own aesthetic vision and sense of mythology.
